Excellent Article on the Potential Lockout

Hello everybody, I'm posting this in direct response to the ridiculous post that was made on this site earlier called "Players are to blame for strike". I don't think I need to go into detail about how ridiculous and stupid that post was, so I'll just cut to the chase...

I came across this article today. In the article, Marvin Miller gives us fans possibly the best insight to this situation that we will be able to find. Who is Marvin Miller? He's somebody you should be listening too...

Marvin Miller was the executive director of the MLB Players Association from 1966 to 1982, during that time he led baseball players through three strikes and two lockouts. He is a labor economist from the Bronx who has worked with the National War Labor Relations Board, the Machinist Union, United Auto Workers and the United Steelworkers. As you can see, not only is this man familiar with sports unions, he is familiar with all sorts of union relations. I personally don't think there is a person with more insight on this subject.

I hope you enjoyed this article as much as I did. Thanks for reading...
