Off-season sux(visitor alert)

Ok, so I am bored and with football news being slow as can be for this time of year I decided to stop by and talk about the AFC West last year. It was a fun season being a Chiefs fan and the AFC West -Denver were all right there at the end. It was honestly about what I expected even though I'm usually not that close with my predictions. So without further delay I will go over how I felt the season played out and what I think we can expect next year.

First off I would like to say congratulations on winning all divisional games that's a hell of an accomplishment. I know going into the playoffs some people thought the Chargers or the Raiders would represent the AFC West better in the playoffs. To that idea I say bullshit, we had a better record and were a pretty good team last year admit or not. I do really believe the Raiders whooping us heading into the playoffs set a bad tone. If you re-watch the Ravens game you will see we could have had the lead going into half but we dropped the ball no pun intended. After half-time we never got going again and the game slipped out of control pretty fast and so we were out of the playoffs. Honestly do I think the Raiders or Chargers could have done better, maybe? It's hard to tell I saw Oakland look awful last season at times and brilliant at other times. I would say maybe the Chargers could have made a little more of a splash but they didn't win enough games to make it there. So all in all I say the Chiefs deserved to be there and they made it and fell short.

Now it's obvious to see Oakland and Kansas City can and will run the ball. I would if I were a betting man I would say that the Raiders and Chiefs are no.1 and 2 next year in the AFC West. The Chargers I think are meeting the end of days and Denver has some major work to do. The Chargers could very well be no.1 next year but I would put my money on Oakland or KC. It's hard to say at this point w/o the draft, free agency etc... Captain obvious would say the Chiefs need to do better in the division and Oakland need to do better outside of it. I'm personally not sold on any of the Raiders Qb's or any of the Chiefs WR core at this point. I'm going out super ridiculous early and saying Chiefs 9-7,Oakland 9-7,Chargers 8-8 and Denver 6-10 unless theirs 18 games. I'm going to leave it at that and who ever has the divisional wins would go.

Last year guys, wow it was an exciting fun year for the AFC West -the Broncos. Oakland showed flashes of dominance and at times were mauling teams. I do believe alot of your trouble came from not having an A class QB. The D played well for the most part and you run game was explosive. The Chiefs on the other hand won more games but lacked the dominance the Raiders showed at times including the last game of the regular season. We played consistantly for the most part and seemed to get the job done but besides maybe the 49'ers game I don't recall a pounding we delivered. We improved by a mile and I'll take getting the job done. We need a WR very badly and our pass game needs to find a flow to compliment the superior run game we provide. Our D played well for the most part and we love Eric Berry during the first half of the Ravens game he was everywhere.

So guys what did you think of last season? What do you think about your QB situation and what are your expectations of next year. Feel free to talk about really anything in this post football related, please no attacking. I have been here a few times and got along pretty well considering I'm a Chiefs fan so let's keep it that way. What do you think our biggest weakness was as a team? Do you see the Chargers rebounding next year?
