It's axiomatic, the Raiders always try to draft the fastest man at the combine. This season will be no different and the fact that Nnamdi Asomugha may be leaving makes it all the more critical that the fastest man at the combine is also someone who can step up to fill a major gap in the Defense.
If you're not aware of Cornerback, Buster Skrine, (‘screen') yet, he is out of Tennessee-Chattanooga and projected in the 3rd or 4th rounds. Skrine ran his 40 in 4.29 seconds. Buster stands 5-10 and weighs 185, the same weight as Jacoby Ford.
Buster holds Chattanooga's school record with a 4.22 40; he's been selected twice as All-Southern League and he can bench 360 lbs. and leap straight up 35-inches.
This must be fate - Buster wears No. 21 and is physical as hell - explodes into tackles and is hyper-aggressive just like Nnamdi.

No. 1 on the depth chart on the right corner ... preseason 1st Team All-SoCon selection ... 360-pound bench is the best among the DBs ... also has a 35-inch vertical leap ... 4.22 40-yard time is a school record ... has five career INTs ... elected one of three captains by his teammates ... finished with 39 tackles, including 39 solo stops ... dislocated his elbow on a KOR against Appalachian State and DNP at Jacksonville State ... made a one-handed INT, the fifth of his career, against Eastern Kentucky ... broke up three of Elon's 10 incompletions ... team-high six tackles against Auburn.
