Over the last couple of days the raiders have worked out several guys at need positions , but not necessarily who you would think or in the order you might think.


  QB Kaepernick - Nev 6'2" 225 - a project , but has upside , big arm (can also throw a baseball 91mph) , Mobil and can throw on the run .

  Was originally projected to be a 3rd pick , but due to lack of free agency all team needing QB's will be scrambling at the end of the 1st and early 2nd to get a QB , he's being pushed up . it will take Oakland's pk 48 to get him...if were lucky .

  DB Chris Culliver -s.Carolina -6' 200- originally a 4th or 5th rd pick , but due to his press coverage ability , he is starting to have teams project him to corner pushing him up to the 3rd.

  While he may be able to play corner lets talk about what he showed at FS , good instincts , burst to close , rarely out of position , explosive burst and leaping ability ,all acc 2009 played well at corner in 7 games at corner last year before going down to a torn pectoral.

  He brings allot to the table including Raider measurables 6' -200- 4.36 40yd dash , and 38 1/2 " vertical.

  OT Chris Hairston - Clemson - 6'7" 325 , like I've said before , one of the benefits of the type of linemen coach Jackson likes is you can find them deep in the draft , huge , quick feet , long arms good lateral agility and balance , can mirror and slide , good kick slide , and solid knee bend . 

  Hard worker, with a nasty streak (29 pancake blocks) , 3yrs starting at left tackle for a solid clemson line. A 4th to 5th rd projection but now that we pick middle of the pack , this year it will probably take our 4th.
