-The man himself
On Friday a great man passed away at the age of 58. His name was Randall Mario Poffo, better known as "Macho Man" Randy Savage. Although he wasn't a former Raider or even a Raiders fan (not sure), he meant a lot to the Raider Nation.
Back in the 1980s, there wasn't a better wrestler/performer than the Macho Man. With Miss Elisabeth by his side, he couldn't lose. He won a total of ten world championships during his career, most notably with the WWF and WCW. One of the biggest moments of his career is his victory over Hulk Hogan at Madison Square Garden around 1986.
With his passing, he leaves behind a great legacy that to this still appreciated and respected. Although the current state of the WWE may not be at it's best, Macho Man was a great example of wrestling at it's prime. Our thoughts are with his family and his wife, Lynn.
