Well apparently the NFL has not only angered it's existing fan base with this lockout , but have started to alienate the next generation of football fans .

   For every year since 1986 fathers day is the day I get to retire last years Raiders cap , when my oldest boy showed up with my new cap for fathers day , and one by one my children and grandchildren would come through the door , with Raider t-shirts , mini helmets , key chains , floor mats for the truck etc.

    I have officially been put on notice , that since the NFL doesn't want to open it's doors and get to work  , they are not going to continue to send them money and support their extended vacation ... even for fathers day .

    I cant say that I blame them , they got it from the men in this family , so they come by it honestly .

    By this time of the year  I have already purchased my plane tickets home , and planned my two or three trips back home around the games I would be attending with my brother , who has traded his Raider season tickets for A's season tickets . This will be the 1st time since we attended the Raiders vs ST louis pre season game , when the Raiders returned from LA that anyone other than my father , brothers , or I will be sitting in those seats . 

    August will be my 1st trip home in the summertime , ever , I always come during football season , but the family feels pretty strongly , that if the teams don't want to go to work that we don't need to continue to send them our money and support them in their quest to delay this thing untill we end up paying inflated prices for a substandard product , after they take the entire summer off and throw a little something together at the last minute to make their Bently payments . 

  So as disappointed as i will be this fathers day I cant say I disagree , this family has bled silver and black since the 1st time they took the field in Oakland , through the years in LA , replacement players , 1-15 , 4-12 we have supported the siver and black through it all , but we will not continue to put money in their pockets to support these spoiled rotten bastards so they may continue to hold our game hostage  . You want us to sign your bloody pay checks get off your ass and go to work . If we dont go to work , and open the doors of our business we dont get paid .... and neither should they.
