Are y'all ready for the weekly resolution day poll? This is the fifth installment, and the results have been becoming steadily more hopeful—although I expect June should be suffering a steep decline. Last week July ran away with things as that month captured a whopping 75 percent of the vote.
I am not sure if that can be topped. I mean, I could post a poll asking if the world will still be round in one week, and we may not get more than 75 percent yes votes.
That said, things continue to bold well in the lockout process. There was a report this week that the NFLPA lawyers were pushing players to stand their ground and battle for more, but since I didn't see any reports stating the players were actually listening to their lawyers, i am not really counting that as a negative.
As we poll Roger Goodell and DeMaurice Smith are locked in the midst of a four day negotiating session. They seem to be on great terms, and Smith even invited Goodell to speak to the players at the Rookie Symposium. So, what's your prediction?
