Jarvis Moss Staying in Oakland

In the NFL rumor section of ESPN.com they are reporting Jarvis Moss will remain in the silver and black, and I am actually excited about him being back.

Being from Colorado and living with Bronco fans I get to see the Broncos every week. This is not ideal being a Raider fan but it is what it is. When Moss was in Denver his stats where not that great and he did not perform anywhere near expected. In fact a lot of people in Denver considered him a bust, and wanted him gone. I did not share that opinion, I believe Moss was a victim of the system Denver used. Denver ran a 3-4 defense, where Moss played 4-3 in college and what fits is game best. Coach Jackson talks about putting players in the right situation to succeed, and I think Oakland is a great fit for Moss. He adds depth to out D-line and is going to be a nice addition to our rotation. Also, in Denver he had a worse supporting cast than what he has in Oakland. Another thing to consider is Moss is only in his 6th year in the NFL so he should be productive for a while. Obviously this won't be the biggest or most important pick up the Raiders will have this week but it is a good pick up.
