Oakland Raiders 2011 Rookie Signings: Stefen Wisniewski Inks Deal and Just Waiting on Barksdale
The Oakland Raiders have almost completed their 2011 NFL rookie signings. It appears that only Joe Barksdale is next, which seems kind of weird since Barksdale tweeted he was in Oakland yesterday, and that it was time to work. I am sure he will ink his deal soon, and maybe he has already and we just haven't heard.
The Raiders are weird about announcing such things. And they have actually taken to twitter to announce signings. I bet Al Davis does the tweets himself. Anyway jump over for more news on the signings....
Raiders have signed draft picks Stefen Wisniewski, DeMarcus Van Dyke, Chimdi Chekwa, Richard Gordon, Denarius Moore, and David Ausberry.
When the Raiders Tweeted:
Head Coach Hue Jackson announces that 4th round draft pick RB Taiwan Jones has signed and is in Napa
We got the news of Denarious Moore's signing via wbir.com:
Today former Tennessee wideout Denarius Moore inked a deal with the
Raiders valued at $2.2 million over four years. He was selected in the fifth round of the 2011 NFL Draft in April.
Demarcus Van Dyke broke the news to everyone himself. Demarcus Van Dyke's Twitter:
Officially a Raider!!!
And the National Football Post's Aaron Wilson told us all that Ausberry was ready to roll:
Raiders seventh-round rookie WR David Ausberry got a $45,900 signing bonus.
The Raiders also added 14 undrafted free agents. If you need more info on them, you can find it right here.

I wonder what's keeping the Barksdale deal. Maybe the Gaither negotiation has something to do with it.

All the rookies are on board except Ol' Joe. Maybe we're trading him for another Jared ... !
