Raiders Rumors and Reports.
As I was searching the internet trying to find anything about who the Raiders were trying to find I stumbled upon a bleacher report article by Ezra Ruiz posting some Rumors of who we are going after and some other reports about the salary cap.
Out of these players I would like to see Morrison, Goldson, Gaither, and Luiti all become members of the SIlver and Black. Morrison would fill the need at weak side linebacker, and would upgrade our linebackers to make it a possible strength of our football team. I have always been a fan of Morrison and would love to see him back home. Goldson is a solid free safety and would be an upgrade over Huff. I did see that Branch was working at FS, while Mitchell was working at strong safety. I like that safety combo but I still think I would rather have a true free safety back there. Gaither would be an upgrade at LT and I believe he is one of the best in the league. Our line would be a lot better if we were able to sign him, and move the other Jared to RT were he could flourish in run blocking. Lastly, Luiti is a massive guard from Arizona. I do not know much about him other than he would fit well in our power blocking scheme, and would be an immediate replacement for Gallery.
I do not want to see Cromartie in Oakland because he is a weak tackler, and has a large ego. The Raiders have done well this year in getting rid of egos and poor locker room presence so I'd like to keep that where it is. I don't know enough on Poole to have an opinion of him. On all of the QB's I will take a pass. If this were a normal season I would take a serious look at Edwards but I don't see him being that much of an upgrade over Boller. Not that I am a supporter of Boller but he is familiar with the system which is huge this season.
For the receivers it is a toss up. I would not mind seeing Houshmanzadeh or Floyd come in and become arguably our best receiver but at what price? Floyd will not come cheap and there will be teams bidding for him so I will write him off as a no. Houshmanzadeh on the other hand should be cheaper since his production has dropped and he is aging. He could come in and be a tutor for our young guys while giving us the production we need. The only problem is we are backed up at receiver as it is, and I would like to see what these young guys can do with one year under their belt with this QB and system.
These are just my opinions and the players are just off of speculation but what do you think Nation? Is there anybody else we should be going after and who should be out top priority other than Miller? The link to Bleacher Report is:

Familiarity and tenacity
will be a crucial element for each team when the chips fall at the end of this post-lockout season. We have lost Nnamdi, therefore bringing back a seasoned Kirk Morrison helps to replace the patch of Raiders culture, of the quilt Al and Hue are building for the Nation. Bring Kirk back and then, NEXT!
I would love to see Morrison come back
I have only seen one report on the possibility and who knows how truthful that was but he would be an upgrade at WLB. Either way I want some moves to happen today I need to see us sign people.
Anyone know the details on Wimbley's restructured contract?
Trust No One
Studies show stress can kill you, but don't worry about it.
Captain Kirk needs to make a comeback
I loved him here in Oakland, though I was always of the mindset that he was a better fit to play OLB then be our MLB. He is a sure tackler, he just dosen’t have that nose for the ball to fill the holes at the line. Rather he always got his tackles once they pushed through the line.
A run stopper he is not, but he can cover just about any assignment you would throw his way. This would allow Wimbley to rarely have to cover (Thank god) and free up McClain to really set up and dominate against the run.
This is his home and it would be awesome to see him comeback here. And it would be even sweeter because we got Jacoby Ford for Morrison, so it would be like we loaned him to Jacksonville, got what we wanted, and still got a fan favorite LB after only one season.

Morrison is now the lone hope for my wish list.
So I now I’m really pulling for him to come here just so I get one.
