Looked Good
In my humble and unedcutated opinion we looked good tonite. The Saints picked on a dime situation corner. Anyone tthink CJ will give it up like that?
Or Lito Sheppard? Me neither. Hagan looks good, so does Moore. Schillens is done, Louis Murphy, lookout. Death Ro looks like all pro to me,u2? Think we start 2-0 for sure. Campbell looks more than capable to run Hue's offense and a 3rd weapon at tailback we got weapons. Trent Edwards is gone. No one will know how TP is gonna be used week 6 but the RAIDERS

I agree but....
I agree with most of your comment except when it comes to Schillens, not that I am a big fan of his for that matter, I mean, who has really seen what he can do? I think he’ll be given one more chance once he’s healthy. but I do think the team palyed way better than last week. GO RAIDERS!!!!! NO DOUBT!!!!
this is Schillens last year under contract
and he is cheap, so he’ll be around this year, but if he can’t stay healthy this year it will be his last as a Raider. Hagan and DeNarius will make it an easy choice…also bye bye Nick Miller!

Sorry Trent Edwards
But Boller outplayed you. We need the other roster spot for Hue and Al’s project passer.

Production first, potential second (last) ... Hagan, Moore, Ford = production. There are 3 other openings and 1 more preseason game

How many???
The biggest question in my mind is, how many receivers spots are actually open? and do injuries come into play at all GO RAIDERS!!!!
Hagan by far was the production WR last night.
With both JC and Boller he looked good.

The Saints are a good team. They are an offensive juggernaut. They identify the weakest link (Van Dyke), and they exploited it again and again and again. That’s what good teams are supposed to do. I was more concerned about our lack of a pass rush.

Pass Rush..
Not saying seymour wouldn’t be a factor, but im just saying it’s the saints, not only that, brees has the fastest release so i doubt it would have made a major difference. But i will say that our blitz calls were terrible, but i liked the fact that this year we are way more aggressive which is good.

If there is a positive about the DVD exploitation is experience.
As much as we are thin at experienced backups at CB, I think it is good that DVD got first hand exposure to a top-notch qb in Brees. Hopefully, this will help speed his maturing process in case CJ or Routt get hurt.

if he can learn from it
and not get shell shocked by it or get down on himself. Someone needs to tell him that Nnamdi had the same trouble early in his career too and to keep his head up. At some point though if he keeps getting lit up like this they’ll have to sit him down for his own good.

Routt had the same problem through his
first 6 seasons. I was honestly more impressed with what Jeremy Ware did last season than any of the other young CBs, though I haven’t seen enough of Chekwa, and I hear they’re moving him to safety. The exposure to Brees will help us against Brady, Rodgers, and Phyllis, though I don’t think they get rid of the ball as fast as Brees…
