"It was a shock. It wasn't one of the things I was expecting to hear today. It didn't cross my mind," Sanders said Monday afternoon.
EDIT: Sanders was the player who sealed the game last year in the November match-up of New England and Indy,

Now I'm a firm believer in Karma, and after all the lopsided deals we've made with the patriots (with the obvious exception of seymour), and maybe us picking sanders up will help restore order to the dark side. If he truly is healthy, he will bring a solid veteran presence to our back end, and give us the chance to let huffy work the corners (I can just see huff lining up looking like he'll press the WR only to blitz and cause some trouble every now and then). Plus, i honestly can't see CJ making the whole season with out another injury, and It'd be nice to have huff fill in that role temporarily until one of the young guys can prove that they're ready to be picked on (S.Moore). Not only would this be a safe grab, but we can shore up our secondary (the weakest spot on both sides of the ball) while sticking it to billicheat. I hope seymour is putting in a good word for him, because at this point we need some help a.s.a.p.
