Hello Raiders fans! I'm sure you're immediate instinct is to assume I'm here to troll or post, but unfortunately, I'm only here to ask some questions about Oakland's O-line plans for the season. I recently did a post ranking the respective offensive positions in the division in my opinion and it occurred to me that I wasn't sure who was going to be in what positions for your team. I'm not exactly sure what the starting O-line was last year, but my guess is it was Veldheer, Gallery, Satele, Carlisle and Barnes, correct me if I'm wrong on that.
So with the loss of Gallery and the drafting of Wisniewski and Barksdale, how do you all see the O-line shaping up? Would Wisniewski replace a center that was a part of the 2nd best rushing offense in the league (behind the Chiefs, of course. My only bit of trolling, I promise :-) ? Do you see someone like Campbell stepping in at LG? Would Carlisle move over to LG and Campbell in at RG? Will Barksdale push Barnes out at RT?
With these changes, do you see any negative impact with the rushing totals? McFadden and Bush are good, but are they good enough to overcome changes in the O-line personnel?
Just some friendly questions and hopefully some just as friendly answers. The Chiefs are going through some change in the interior of our O-line too, and at this point, not many of us over at Arrowhead Pride have really brought up the thoughts that our running game might suffer from these changes. Maybe I'll do that over there soon.
Thanks in advance
