scary!!!!
raiders.com put up depth charts looks like chris johnson is taking over for nnadmi
1 minute ago - by Eric Gilmore - Johnson starts in place of Asomugha
CB Chris Johnson, who replaced Nnamdi Asomugha on the right side, is the only new starter on defense. Rookie DeMarcus Van Dyke is backing up Johnson, while Walter McFadden is backing up starting LCB Stanford Routt. Stevie Brown is the No. 2 FS behind Michael Huff and ahead of Hiram Eugene. Raiders RapidReports
also DHB starts over murphy moore and chaz.... weird... hopefully its to get him into gear!

All I can say is .............
we better be bringing a shit storm of blitzes to keep the opposition QB on the run or we will be swiss cheese in the def secondary.

I know, Lil McFadden and DVD as backups. Have you looked at our LB backups? How about our OL Backups??
We field a decent team that has no depth. Pray we injure others and remain unscathed.

Just read it, again. Come away more positive about CJ and Routt and also for the secondary's overall approach
But DVD is raw and unready, the same can be said for the other non-starting CBs. This team now has divisional champion starters and 3rd place back-ups (OL, LB, CBs) we cannot afford injuries in with our present roster. I’m expecting some significant moves starting tomorrow – cuts and acquisitions.

Hue made a cryptic remark yesterday about wanting to see Groves tonight. The way he said it, as much as his
even saying it, makes me suspect that Groves is on the bubble.

They really need to have a stud OLB, and I had imagined they would have
taken one in FA if possible. Can still happen….(you and I hope!)

Its the first Depth Chart
we havent even played a game yet, it will change before the season starts.
I believe the Raiders DB's are not as bad as it may look without Nnamdi....
Routt and Johnson both are experienced corners that have proven they can play in this league. However, now starting it means they need to step their game up, study more, trust themselves more and not be afraid to jump plays when they have the opportunity. Corner is a position that requires confidence, balance, footwork, and awareness. Hopefully the Raiders can disguised their defenses, give diffrent looks and our guys on the island have to confidence to jump plays when they are there. We lost some good players, however, I believe if we BLOCK for our QB we are going to win…Point Blank…Our Defense is good enough to carry us if the O can move the chains…But we cannot allow our Defence to play 75% of the game and expect to win…I believe we are better than that. And look for Ausberry to make the team, the kid is tough, out of Fresno, he has been a outstanding football player overall his entire life. I expect him to excell with the Raiders….
