Eight Season Openers in a Row Don't Matter Now

The Raiders kick off the 2011 season on MNF for the third time in five years.  As easy as it is to say history does not bode well for the Raiders look at this season with some objectivity.  Don't focus on the past and enjoy the game on Monday night.  The schedule makers set us up perfectly with a national TV game against a hated rival followed up by the questionable Buffalo Bills leaving 8 games at home and 6 games on the road to finish the season.  For all the mockery I've made of many of you on this blog with your constant juvenile fantasy team managing I am a long-suffering Raider fan.  Those of you who think otherwise can tongue my sweaty chode.  I will watch the game with as much positivity as I have since I was a youngster thinking Oakland had a possible birth in the AFC Championship locked up only to have some evil zebras overturn a fumble call and begin possibly the most needless dynasty in all of sports history,  Seriously I could do without seeing Tom Brady and Bill Belichek every five minutes on NFL network or ESPN for the past ten years.  With that said don't take any prognostications from the usual pundits seriously.  I think I've heard about ten different ones pick GB over NYJ.  I'll leave you with this, we at S&B Pride know how good this Raider team can be.  The Broncos definitely do as well so again enjoy the game and no matter the outcome teams have started 0- and even 0-2 before making their runs to the Super Bowl.
