Boss Out For Monday Night

AP reports Raiders tight end Kevin Boss is out for Monday Night Football . It appears if Oakland is to start the season with a win against the hated Denver Broncos it will have to be without the services of the Boss .

While Brandon Meyers , and David Ausberry are capable of taking up the slack in the receiving game the Boss will be missed most in pass protection , making Jared Veldheer's job much more difficult as he will be forced to handle Elvis Dumervil , and Von Miller with very little help .

Along with the extra worries about pass protection come the added worry of " how bad is thee Boss's knee ? " .  The  Boss is a tough guy with alot of heart , so for him to sit out the opener against Denver  on Monday Night Football has to lend credence to reports that the knee may be worse than first thought. There are reports that he may actually have a partial tear of the MCL , which would be a worst case scenario for the Boss and the Oakland Raiders .

Let'shope for the Boss and for the Raiders this is not the case ,and that he has a speedy recovery , and is able to return to the lineup soon .
