AFC East Measuring Stick for One WR By the Name of "-"

This off-season many had questions about this Oakland Raider team especially after a lack-luster preaseason.  However some of those were answered with a solid, albeit ugly effort in another victory in the Raiders' home away from home.  I wonder if Al is asking the league to reschedule all their home games at Invesco Field as that is our house now.  If this team can clean up some of the stupid penalties they were flagged for last night there is no telling the potential of this team talent-wise.  The first test in as important a three week stretch that there has ever been for any team is starting on Sunday morning EST 1:00pm against a blue collar Buffalo squad that just destroyed our most hated rivals.  I was so happy because it couldn't happen to a better team.  I hate their fans, the way their red, yellow, and white unis look and the way it makes their high socks look.  I feel better knowing Terrence McGee is out and I'm sure both Jason Campbell and DHB feel the same way.  I would feel better if Williams and the Bama DT were out also but the Raiders much like the Dude from Lebowski fame will have to abide.  I did not see much improvement from him this week especially since the game was the most part taken out of JC's hands in favor of the power running game against the Broncos much as expected.  However the Bills may stack the box and take that element away.  If - has a great game I will feel better about the Jets game to follow.  If - can help get some crucial 1st downs which are the difference between a Buffalo victory or defeat than I will change my tune about the Jets game.  Right now I see Rex placing Revis on Ford or whoever the opposite receiver of - is with one on one coverage since he strikes fear in the hearts of noone.  This will allow them to stack the box to disrupt the running game and create 3rd and long.  If - does indeed prove he is a starting caliber WR in the NFL then I will pick the Raiders to beat the Jets soundly.  Then there's the Pats and if anyone knows how to disrupt Tom Brady's timing it's his old buddy Big Dick.  I am not expecting a Raider win but if we put a good showing and start the season 3-1 I think this will be the corner that the wife-beating cable guy was talking about turning all of last year.  Good luck and good health, Oakland Raiders players and staff this week in Buffalo and the rest of the 2011 season.
