Welp, our O played pretty awesome today. Moore should be a starter for the rest of the season, no questions about it. DHB, Ford, Hagan, Schilens, and Murphy can battle for the other starting spot, but Moore needs to stay on the field. Me personally, I'd like to see Moore and Hagan as the starters and have Ford in the slot. McFadden played like a beast as always, but that fumble did hurt us big time. Now obviously our D let us down, BIG TIME. Giordano played like the player that was cut, McClain missed too many tackles and took bad angles on running plays. Chris Johnson had trouble all day covering Johnson, and the penalties he committed, man they hurt us. The one defensive holding call (that I thought was total BS by the way) that he had when I think we were up 28-24 was huge. Instead of them scoring a TD they probably would've kicked the FG and we would've been up 28-27 and possibly would've ran the clock out.
But the game is over and now we've got a tough three games coming up. We've got the Jets and Pats coming in, then heading to Houston. If we could snag maybe two of those three games before we head into the week 6 through 9 schedule would be nice. No reason we cant win all those games, week 6 home against Cleveland, 7 home against KC, 8 bye, week 9 home against Broncos. Winning two out of those three tough games and those games I mentioned we'd be sitting at 6-2. Now I know i'm looking too far ahead, but 6-2 is def. manageable for this team and would be a nice record for the first half of the season. Anyways, on to this week. Hopefully the black hole will be packed and we can get after pretty boy Mark Sanchez and rough him up and force some turnovers. Hopefully our team responds well and brings us a W next week. Then do the same the next week to the Pats haha. Hey, anything is possible in the NFL. Baltimore kills the Steelers then gets beat by the Titans the next week, gotta love it!
