Patriots vs. Raiders Injury Report: Huff and Shaughnessy Miss Practice

Michael Huff did not participate in the Raiders practice Thursday, and it doesn't make much sense. He was on the field on Wednesday, which means he must have told the docs 2+2=5 as quick as always and passed his concussion tests.

Paul Gutierrez reported that Huff was also dealing with some ankle issues. So, I guess that must be what kept him out of practice.

Gutierrez also quoted Hue as adding:

"Yeah, I think everything is passed. Now, it's just a matter of making sure he's up and ready to go."

If he's not on the practice field tomorrow, he probably won't be playing on Sunday. The same can be said for Matt Shaughnessy. He missed his second straight day of practice with a shoulder injury of undisclosed nature. The lack of news on Matt is disturbing.

Marcel Reece, Chris Johnson, Louis Murphy all missed practice again.

Jacoby Ford said he is definitely playing and Mike Mitchell also seems to be on track to play as well. This is a great game for Mitchell to come back for. They can use him to try and lock down Gronkowski, and they may not have to worry about NE's other TE, Aaron Hernandez.

Hernandez again missed practice for the Patriots. Logan Mankins returned in limited fashion while dealing with illness and Albert Haynesworth missed practice with JaMarcus Russellitis, which was listed as "back."

Check out the full practice report from NFL.com after the jump....

Looking forward to Albert and Gerard suiting up against our Trenchmen. We need Matt to get healed quickly

Huff too. Mitchell’s return is perfectly timed, a real boost there.

"NE"'s Ailing On The "D" Side With Many Naging Ailments...Hope We Make Them Serious!!!!!!

Their “O” is definitely going to be a tough challenge for our “D” BUT I really like the match-up against their “D”….The only thing I see is that they may be big and tough up the middle with their "DT"s…Hainsworth is prolley not a factor though!!!

are you saying the game depends on the play of Hainsworth?

I think if he gets exposed then thats our missmatch

Dangerously? Yea.

NO!!!...That Was A Reply To SOB Saying I Don't Expect Hainsworth To Be An Issue...

He’s injured and lazy…Nick Name should be “Easy $$$ Money”….Glad to see the “Pats” saddled with his worthless ass!!!
