Carson Palmer, Not well suited with the west coast, Damn this leaves me wondering what is going to happen in the 2012 FA,Trades, and the Draft. As of now the Raiders is up in the air at the moment, 3-4 defense may be the new look, but Kelly is no 3-4 defensive lineman. Maybe a trade? Reggie Mckenzie is a wizard, and right now he stirring up the ingredients until KAZAAM! a superbowl team emerges. Too excited!!

Very exciting times!

When the smoke clears and all is said and done, we will be better off then we have been in past 10 years. If it takes us a year or two to get there so be it, just as long as we get there!

Carson Palmer

Did pretty well in Norm Chows West Coast Offense at USC, if I remember right. Something about a trophy . . .

Carson Palmer

Did ok for being with a team for only 10 weeks and learning the team and players on the go, and not to mention having multiple key players out his whole time here… he never got to play with Run DMC and Denarious who is clearly his favorite reciever was out for a few games… I think the team put too much into him just to go in a new direction

We had to put everything into him

Without Palmer we are definitely 5-11 again. Palmer did do well though, not playing football for year and still play decent. Yes, he showed his weaknesses by forcing throws but showed his accuracy at times too. Eli Manning had the same problem, but now he has grown from making dumb decisions, Palmer needs to play smart and he will be fine. Either way without Palmer coming here we are 5-11 and Hue would have been fired regardless.

I think Carson really likes it out here.

He went to USC. He hated Cincinnati. I thought under the circumstances he performed quite well. Plunkett, and Gannon, came in here in almost the same way , & we went to 3 almost 6 Super Bowls. We gave up a lot for him. Give him a shot. You could tell right away, he wants to be a Raider, and that’s F’n key to Raider QB success. Don’t just go to the West Coast because it worked for the Slackers for a year. Our vertical game was working pretty good until Cambell got hurt. With short notice, and rusty Carson got it going again.

If you ever wanted to see Boise St play...may be a good chance. Love em or Hate em, they are always interesting; and now, no matter where you live, "They're Coming To Your City"

By definition West Coast Offense means placing more emphasis on passing than running.

That being said, Plunkett who used a Davis verticle form of the WCO,
When Plunkett came here:
1. Heisman winner
2. Age 32
3. 8 NFL
4. 13000 yds
5. 61% QB rating
6. 117 int
7. 1994 attempts
8. Results: 2 Superbowl Championships

When Palmer came here:
1. Heisman winner
2. Age 32
3. 8 yrs NFL
4. 22,000 yds
5. 86% QB rating
6. 100 int
7. 3200 attempts
8. Results: Build the rest of the team, and the results could be the same as Plunketts

Correction: Plunkett used a Davis, verticle form of the WCO.

Best Part of it All

In the past few years you see an open receiver and… then the ball overthrown or bounced in front of him.

With Palmer you see… and open receiver… then the reciever’s numbers…. then a ball in his hands and a fast ass motherf’er running down the field.

I am starting to get excited. Denarious Moore will be a beast… THIS YEAR. Mark my words Raider Nation@!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Light up the Freakin Halo!
