Sterling Moore
I know we Raider fans have moved on, but I personally was for the new head coaching direction. With that said people are always wondering why Hubris was axed, maybe one reason could be he just wasn't a great reader of talent on all sides of the ball. Watching Sterling Moore, a guy multiple posters on this site pleaded with the Raiders to keep on the roster from the start of the season when like D. Moore he had a good training camp, make plays for the hated Patriots, while we are currently trying to access our cornerback needs was tough, but you gotta love the kid for keeping his head up while on the practice squad. S. Moore at worse would have been a good nickel corner and could have helped but obviously Hubris missed the boat on that one.
P.s. Shout out to the poster that was praising Sterling all pre-season, I can't remember who but obviously he saw a diamond in the summer camp setting.

sigh
Sterling Moore saved the patriots from not going to the super bowl. Then he almost made an interception the next play. Need i say more? Gj whoever let him go.
RAIDER NATION
"There only can be one nation, The Raider Nation"
Inexcusable roster management
CJ, Chekwa, DVD and Lito all could not stay on the field and/or sucked. Just imagine had we kept Sterling Moore the outcome of the season would likely have been different. Baring an absolute torching in the SB, Sterling Moore’s value will have gone from UDFA to 3rd round choice and rising.
Your team is your child...You love it no matter what.
I doubt I am who you are talking about, but
I was pissed when we cut Moore. I thought he was good.

Yeah I agree man, there was a huge outcry for him to stay

I was one of those posters...
…based on what others (D. Moore in particular) had to say abt him. Was surprised when he wound up on the Practice Squad and not surprised someone else picked him up. BTW Fuck the Patriots.
Girlfriend: So the guy who catches the ball is the catcher, right?
Me: No. They are called wide-receivers. Catchers play baseball.
Girlfriend: Samething.
Then there was this video I got of him in camp:

Here:
Local boy, favorite player was Woodson, was going toe to toe with D. Moore all camp. Curiously, he was signed by the Pats right after they played the Raiders. I wonder if he was Al’s last gift for Bill B?

the guys that signed off on releasing Moore.
One’s dead and the other was terminated. Sad but true. I raved about Moore ever since preseason that the Raiders need to play this guy more and was furious when he was released in favor of Al’s boy, wack DVD. Now look what we have here, a joke of a secondary while the diamond that Al and Hue thought was paste continues to cut glass. It really pisses me off to see Moore playing so well for the Pats only because it should be happening here yet Dumb and Dumber couldn’t see it for they are only concerned with how fast someone runs in a staight line. Damn you Al, RIP. The Greatness of the Raiders is in their Future.

He would have EASILY been our second best corner
And depending on how many flags Routt got in certain games, he might have been our best corner at times.
No mikev, no peace
Know mikev, know peace
I remember the effort he put during the preseason, sorry he's gone.
Perhaps the move worked in his favor. He might get a ring out of it. Good for Moore!, but to hell with the Patsies.
Good for Sterling.
I am happy he got picked up & now has a chance at a ring when he could have thought it was over for him when we cut up. Sterling Moore, awesome football name.
