The Raiders made moves to sign a player and cut a player to their practice squad after working out several players.

Tuesday the Raiders worked out several players and signed offensive lineman Jason Foster to the practice squad. They released defensive back Akwasi Owusu-Ansah to make room.

According to various reports, the other players of whom the Raiders worked out this week were quarterback Aaron Corp, wide receiver Saalim Hakim, wide receiver Shaky Smithson, tight end Cooper Helfet, cornerback Buddy Jackson, and safety Cory Nelms.

Jason Foster is a rookie offensive guard out of Rhode Island who was in the Colts camp but did not make the final roster. The 6-3, 298 pound guard went undrafted this year.

This is the second time this season the Raiders have cut Akwasi Owusu-Ansah from the practice squad. He had spent the past couple weeks on the squad. He was a former fourth round pick out of Indiana (PA) University by the Dallas Cowboys in 2010 and is primarily a return specialist.
