The Oakland star's status for their game against Baltimore on Sunday is still unknown.

As of right now, there's still no clear indication of whether Raiders RB Darren McFadden will play in their game against the Ravens on Sunday.

However, this report out of practice on Wednesday certainly isn't a good sign for Oakland fans:

McFadden was knocked out of their 42-32 loss to the Bucs last week with a high ankle sprain, rushing for only 17 yards on 7 carries.

Even if he does play on Sunday, high ankle sprains are notoriously slow to heal, which could limit his effectiveness.

Mike Goodson, his main backup, is also dealing with an ankle issue that has kept him out of practice, which could leave the Raiders turning to third-string RB Marcel Reese.

McFadden has had a fairly disappointing season in 2012, rushing for 455 yards and 2 TD's on only 3.3 yards per carry.
