It is no secret that the Raiders have a lot of holes to fill, and that Reggie loves his Draft Picks. especially if they were someone's picks. The Raiders do not have a second round pick and I am sure Reggie would love one. So why am I talking about this?
It has just been stated by the Buffalo Bills GM that he is willing to trade up for a franchise QB
"Let me say this: I think there's a time that in the era that you're in and the development of your team, there's a time when you can move up a round to take a quarterback," Nix told the station in a story picked by the Buffalo News. "And I think the time's now for us. I mean, if a guy's there -- I keep saying that, and there'll be one out there -- if the guy's there, then I think we'll target -- as I've said before -- drafting a good quarterback. We need a good, young quarterback, and we're going to do our best to get him."
This could benefit the Raiders as trading picks with them would still give us a top ten pick and and a 2nd round and a later round pick possibly. I know a lot of the nation wants Te'o but this draft class is very deep in Middle Linebackers such as: Alec Ogletree, Kevin Minter, Shayne Skov, Michael Mauti, and Andrew Jackson. so if we miss Te'o it is not the end of the world. trading up from 3 to 10 would still give us guys like: Dee Milliner, Bjoern Werner, Barkevious Mingo, Sheldon Richardson, Sam Montgomery, and Alec Ogletree
I think this would be a great opportunity for the raiders to grab some picks and still be able to get someoneof need from their 1st round pick
