The Raiders are ending the 2012 season the way they started it - facing the Chargers. But a lot has changed since then. It was a debacle in the first game due to the loss of long snapper Jon Condo. Now the team has a great many more problems than a missing long snapper.
These two teams both have their issues. But while the Chargers have been finding ways to lose games, the Raiders haven't been able to put themselves in position to have a chance to win in the first place. Both teams are playing out the season for pride and nothing more.
If the Raiders win, they would save themselves the embarrassment of being swept by the Chargers but it could mean they fall out of the top five draft positions. If they lose, they are the odds on favorite for the third overall pick. But when the pads go on, there's no thought of anything but winning.
