Offseason starting early this year.

Yes, this season has been a major bust. Back in January I was one of the guys who thought Hue Jackson's firing was a necesary evil in order to give Reggie MacKenzie the best chances to design a winning franchise. I was one of the guys who thought Dennis Allen would bring with him some growing pains, but also a much needed improve at discipline, defensive game and fresh ideas. I was one of the few guys who thought Greg Knapp deserved a shot with a legit QB and some talent around him before throwing him under the bus. And as I still think Hue's firng was the best choice in the mid-term and I still have a little hope that Dennis Allen could come back next year and turn the things around, time has proven me wrong with pretty much everything I thought at January.

Now, what are we seeing but an early offseason? There's already talk of who will be the new coaches, who should stay, who should go, who should start next september. Sad as it is, if you're not fighting for a playoff spot this time of the year, then you are already in offseason mood. You've already been humilliated, you've been discarded and even if Oakland would win his next 4 games, wouldn't it be just like last game's final touchdown? I mean, yes, it could provide a little dignity to the team, wich could mean a lot for the franchise the next season, but those would be garbage time victories.

So here I am, thinking about it and how I would love to hear what you want Santa Claus to bring for the Oakland Raiders.

I wish for a couple of DT, some serious help at CB, a reliable MLB, a DC who actually knows what he's doing, some new offensive play caller, a whole new Special Teams Coach (God how i miss Fassel!) and, if we are actually giving up hope on Dennis Allen and going for a new HC, no more new age experiments, I want Chucky!!
