(Editor's Note: This looks more like a one finger solute to me. I guess he chose to go to KC because he will know the offenses of 6 out of 13 teams he plays next year. Now that he is gone, I guess it is "Don't let the door hitcha' where the good Lord splitcha'" time. In Stanford's case, that would be over the top.)
Looks like the Chiefs are looking to bolster their depth chart by the signing of Stanford Routt.
Honestly, I didn't picture Stanford signing with Kansas City (Thought the Bills were a better fit). But for 19.6 million over three years? I think the Raiders could have made room for that kind of money or that Routt could have gotten a better deal elsewhere. All in all, good luck to Routt, but not too much good luck, seeing how we now have to face our homegrown talent twice a year. Hell, maybe we sign Brandon Carr now. Doubt his deal will be cheaper than what Routt received though.
