Remaining Coaching Positions

As we currently stand we are missing DL/DB/LB/QB/WR/TE/AHC.

How would the nation feel if they invited

(WR and/or TE) AHC Al Saunders

QB Coach- Hue Jackson

Who would you like to see as

LB- Romanowski? Joe Vitt New Orleans worked with Allen?

DB- Woodson Return? Whitt or Perry?

DL- Pepper Johnson? Only one I could think of.

Let me know what you think. I think it would be good for continuity and we would have a younger staff between Allen/Tarver/ Jackson/ Both Quality Control and if they signed any of the DB coaches above, which could be good to stay intact for years to come.

I really hope we keep Rod Woodson.

He did pretty good with our DBs this year, and he’s also a young coach. Just getting started

Do You Really think "Hubris", (LOL) Ego, would allow him to come back ???

Won’t happen !!! He still hasn’t figured out how to pry his foot out of his mouth yet !!! Would love for Woodson to return, and Pepper Johnson as the D- line coach would be an excellent addition !!! He got a ring to prove he knows his shit !!!

Hypothetically if they let him come back would you think it would be good?

I think he wants to coach and not getting any positions hes going for. Why not swallow his pride and do what he has done before.

Al Saunders, gosh I would love him as AHC or helping Knapp too. I really hope we keep him we need continuitu with that beast O.

So I read this morning

Raiders have signed Al Saunders as a Senior Assistant through the 2013 season and have also singed John Defilippo as the QB coach. I got this off an unofficial Raiders facebook page, they have always been accurate in what the page owners report, so I hope this is true.

Defilippo has coached here before as an assistant under Knapp with Russell, he has also coached for the NY Giants and the NY Jets working with Mark Sanchez and Eli Manning and most recently with San Jose State. Hopefully he is a good choice.
