It was either Bush or Tyvon who was going to be franchised and now it looks like Bush's chances of being a Raider is more slim then ever. What does this mean? Well, we obviously have our best secondary guy back which is a plus for the defense. In my opinion though, i figured he let a lot of TD's pass go, almost about the same as Routt did, I think it was about 7. I can't find the link to clarify but i'm positive he did give up a lot this year. Maybe, that is one of of the biggest reasons Branch wasn't in the Pro Bowl. Tyvon has great ability, but tends to over pursues a lot which is why he gives up touchdowns and sometimes open tackles on QB's. But, still lets look at the bright side of this, without branch we would be far worse then ever in that secondary with all those gaping holes. Branch this year from what I've seen which is an improvement is his leadership. I can see on plays where the coverage is blown and see the reaction of Branch where he is displeased and rants, why wouldn't he right? 20+ yards? The fact when I see that he communicates to his team mates to get them in the right position is always a plus. He is turning into a voice on the field, which is someone we lack. Now with a defensive minded coach, expect Tyvon's role to be bigger in this upcoming season, I feel he has all the tools to become elite, but lacks the coaching to help him to the next level to fix those coverage problems. Tyvon is probably the best tackler on our team and is very reliable against TE's. Remember NE? Gronk Who? But for the most part, its good to have him back, Hopefully we can still get Bush back, but we shall see what will happen in the future.
