Lets get real...the Raiders have "lost" Rout, Boss, Carlisle, Henderson, Campbell, Cartwright, Eugene, Johnson, while resigning Branch and our restricted FA's. Routt clearly overpaid for performance, Boss was injured alot and was in the doghouse for some reason when not hurt - Meyers got a few starts and ALOT of playing time. Both are good NFL players for sure, but can be replaced. Lets jump to Branch - clearly our best FA and we kept him. Our RFA's have potential and more and were kept - Reece, Bryant, Etc. Onto the rest...they were one time starters - WHO WERE REPLACED OR PART TIME PLAYERS. These guys did not make our roster a winning roster....we have heard the clamoring for Carlisle to get cut since he got here, Henderson is way old from the beatings he has taken in the trenches, CJ HAD a few good years, Eugene got a fgat K to sit out 2011, Campbell lost out to a BETTER QB and Cartwright, a sentimental favorite but as a RB, we need someone who can back up DMC cuz no way Bush wants to be a backup. So lets summarize- we kept our very best player and let past starters go....lets see who replaces them....myguess cheaper, younger and better is still TBD.....until then, jus Chill!
