Trevor Scott's career has been an exciting one. He has 13.5 career sacks under his belt, including those on Brett Favre and Donovan McNabb. He had a season-ending injury in November of 2011 when he tore his left ACL during the Steelers game. Following that season, the NFL had their lockout, so Scott was unable to rehab with his trainers and was quoted, "It’s kind of been some BS, the fact that I’ve been doing my own rehab and not allowed to talk to trainers," Scott said recently via the San Francisco Chronicle. "I’ve been putting my faith and my trust elsewhere to the guys rehabbing me now. It just kind of sucks, the whole thing." The next season, Scott was not used to his full potential by Hue Jackson's defensive team. He recorded only 7 tackles in his contract season and it didn't look like the Raiders were going to place much emphasis on trying to keep him from entering free agency. On March 17, Trevor Scott signed a one year contract with the New England Patriots. Trevor Scott is listed at 6-5, 255 pounds, although I believe he is now closer to 270 as those measurements were taken at the beginning of his 4 year contract before beefing up. Trevor Scott will be missed here in Oaktown, but we wish him nothing but the best with the Patriots.
