Other players perception of Da Raiiiiiidaas

So I met Colts starting CB Jerraud Powers the other day in his hometown of Decatur, AL (which is also the hometown of McClain, they went to school together). I work for Stanley Steemer and we had to go clean his carpet so I figured I'd just chat it up a little bit with him. Couple things I took away from him. He said Andre Johnson was by far the toughest receiver he's ever played against and that he wants Luck over RG3. I lightly joked around with him about the Manning-less Colts and how that worked out for them last year haha. So after we had wrapped up the truck and were on the way out we had a little convo and here's how it went.

Me: So when are you gonna be a free agent?

JP: Next year

Me: Ohhh man, contract year...better kill it this year! Hey Oakland will probably need a corner

JP: I'm not playing in Oakland.

My Buddy (Giants Fan): Come play for the Giants.

JP: I'll come play in New York

Then we just chatted about the franchise tag number for a corner and a couple other things. But him shooting Oakland down like that kind of got me wondering what most of the guys in the league think about Oakland. I'm sure when the time rolls around and IF Oakland gave him a nice little contract number he wouldn't be so quick to shoot it down. Was a pretty cool experience though. First time I actually met a player in the league. Did go to school with Chiefs SS Reshard Langford (who D.Moore beat on that deep pass from Carson). I bumped into Reshard a couple months after he signed with KC from Phillys practice squad and had to let him know that my days pulling for him were over! haha...any cool stories you guys got from meeting players in the league? I live in Huntsville, AL so I don't get the chance to meet many players. HOF receiver John Stallworth does live here in Huntsville as well as former Seahawk Walter Jones....Rolando and Powers are from Decatur which is only 15 mins away and hated Phillip Rivers played ball in Athens, which is also about 15 mins away. Other than those guys, thats about it.
