Stay connected for news and updates

The Raiders traded down ten picks first but in the bottom of the fifth they select Penn State defensive end Jack Crawford. Most notably, marijuana was found in his apartment while at Penn State but he claims it was not his and no charges were filed.

He is considered a developmental prospect who is relatively new to football as he grew up in London, England and came to America as a basketball player. He didn't start playing football until his junior year in high school.

At 6-4, 268 pounds he has good size but his play has yet to catch up. His value is mostly in his potential. As a sophomore he had 31 tackles, 14.5 tackles for loss, and 5.5 sacks. He took a step back as a junior with just eight starts and missed three games due to injury. As a senior, he rebounded with 42 tackles, 7.5 tackles for loss and 6.5 sacks.

He is considered a hard worker and a quick study.
