That's right, the SWARCO Raiders, the Oakland Raiders sister team, that is part of the Austrian Football League. The defending Eurobowl champions opened the 2012 season on March 24th with a 52-0 win over against the Kornmesser Rangers. Then they defeated the Prague Panthers by a score of 37-10. And finally the SWARCO Raiders defeated the Danube Dragons 31-7 in the Raiders home opener.
I hope this is a sign of things to come. It would be great to have the Oakland Raiders be the Superbowl champions and the SWARCO Raiders be the Eurobowl champions.
