The site needs a little more movement. Again, at this time of the offseason, nothing is really going on, but there is always something to talk about. Im projecting the roster judging by how things are going in Mini-Camps and OTA's. I am including depth chart, so the order is in place.
Now on the WRs, I will put them in this order: No.1, No.2, Slot, No.4 (No.1's backup), No,5 (No.2's backup), No.6 (Slot/Wideout backup).
CBs will be divided into: No.1, No.2, Nickel, No.4 (No.1's backup), No.5 (No.2's Backup) and No,6 (Nickel, CB backup).
QBs: 1. Carson Palmer (Unquestionable Starter)2. Matt Leinart (I expect this to change by the end of the season)
RBs: 1. Darren McFadden (If healthy, no question here either)
2. Mike Goodson/Tawian Jones (expect both to be on the field and create a nice rotation for DMac)
FBs: 1. Marcel Reece (No question)
2. Owen Schmitt (Power blocker, for the Goal Line)
WRs: 1. Darrius-Heyward Bey (Best receiver right now in my opinion, better fit for the WC Offense)
Slot. Jacoby Ford
4. Juron Criner
5. Ed McGee
6. Louis Murphy
TEs: 1. David Ausberry (I think he will make a huge impact this year)
2. Brandon Myers (Decent combo of blocking and catching for a backup)
O-Linemen from Left to Right.
OT: Jared Veldheer, Khalif Barnes. (Backups: Dan Knapp, Joseph Barksdale)
OG: Cooper Carlisle, Mike Brisiel (Backups: Lucas Nix, Tony Bergstrom)
OC: Stefen Wisniewski (Backup: Alex Parsons)
D-Linemen: (Observation: VERY deep and talented corps)
3-4 Sets:
Richard Seymour/Desmond Bryant-Travis Ivey-Tommy Kelly/Lamarr Houston
4-3 Sets:
Lamarr Houston/Dave Tollefson - Richard Seymour/Desmond Bryant - Tommy Kelly/Dominique Hamilton - Matt Shaugnessy.
LBs:
3-4 Sets:
Miles Burris/Dave Tollefson-Phillip Wheeler/Aaron Curry-Rolando McClain/Travis Goethel-Kaelin Burnett
4-3 Sets:
Phillip Wheeler/Miles Burris-Rolando McClain/Travis Goethel-Aaron Curry
CBs: 1. Ron Bartell
Nickel. Brandon Underwood
4. Demarcus Van Dyke
6. Pat Lee
FS: 1. Michael Huff (Hopefully he plays better if he is kept at his most fitting position)
2. Curtis Taylor (I think he beats out Aaron Henry, he has the experience and has been surprising in OTAs)
SS: 1. Tyvon Branch (No question here)
2. Mike Mitchell (Still think he is a great backup, we need him big time against good TEs)
Special Teams:
LS- Jon Condo
KR- Jacoby Ford
PR- Mike Goodson/Taiwan Jones (No more punts for D-Moore please).
Those are my projections. Tell me what you think about that and changes you think would happen.
UPDATE:
Had to take Richard Gordon and Ed Wang off the list to add room for the FBs. But you could consider Richard Gordon making a case to compete at FB with Owen Schmitt. Ed Wang probably will be just a camp body.
