I'm a little concerned but not really that much. I look at it like this.
Now is the time to find out who you can count on when the game is on the line. Who is going to make the play on third and long or in the fourth quarter when the game is in the balance? These games are nothing more than scrimmages. We're trying to find out what our players can do. Palmer needs to give our players a chance to make plays and that's what he is doing. Our coaches and Palmer have said that much. I'm not really all that worried that Palmer is going to continue throwing passes like the ones that ended in preseason ints come the regular season.
I do realize that he has a history of throwing ints but he has had a full offseason to learn the playbook and his receivers. He seems quite healthy compared to some of his int filled years where you could see him float passes at times. We also have somewhat conservative coaches who are going to be preaching not to turn over the football as well. Not to mention having DMC on the field with him brining eight in the box and making his job just that much easier.
I don't know I may be way off. Let me know what you think.
