Training Camp has showed us a lot, and has revealed to us that starters may not be starters, and backups may take those #1 spots. Demarcus Van Dyke may be taking over for shaky Shawntae Spencer, Mike Goodson has proven to be a great #2 back, and Matt Leinart is doing his best to revitalize a hyped career. Besides Players, Dennis Allen is showing the same poise as great Raider head coach Jon Gruden. Lets hope he can take them to the places that Gruden did.
Now we personally understand the argument that it's way too early to call Allen a Gruden style coach, especially with this bully Hue Jackson failed to create last year, but there are reports that Allen resembles Gruden. Gruden even told 95.7 the Game that he tried to hire Dennis Allen while he was in Tampa. This franchise desperately needs stability at the coaching position, something they haven't had since Gruden left (if you can even call that a long stint).
This "new era of raider fottball" has promised a lot of things...Do you think Allen and McKenzie can live up to the high expectations and standards they've set for themselves?
