So there has been tons of speculations of our TE's recently I purchased Madden 13 and I have restarted multiple seasons (just trying to get the hang of the game... ) well every time I start a new "franchise" we always pick up J. Shockey.

Too me this guy is an old school Raider, hard nose TE with attitude and toughness he is a bit old (32) but hes been in 10 years and even with a rookie QB (Kim Newton as the great Al Davis once said) he produce semi decent numbers as a number two TE.

Honestly I think he can be an adviser and mentor for some of our new young TE even if it is a year or two operation I think it would be well worth it
