Dear Raider Nation:

Remember the day when a game between the Raiders and the Dolphins was guaranteed to be the “Game of the Week?” It has been a while…

I do not write these words to troll, or to be pessimistic. Indeed, I must claim some ignorance about the current state of the Raiders and where you see your team heading. Unfortunately, I couldn’t watch the game last night (not that I didn’t want to), but I had other responsibilities to attend to.

I am writing this post because in a 5 days’ time our teams will play each other and one of my favorite things to do is discuss the game before hand in a friendly and civil manner with opposing fans who want to know what to look for. This is the post where you get to ask Phins fans any of the questions that you know only fans of the team can answer well… of course with a slight risk of homerism. I don’t expect many responses today, since you guys played last night and probably want to “process” that game. The reason I am posting today is I am done processing the 4 TOs in 4 possessions that were the story of our game 2 days ago! Please feel free to ask any question about the Dolphins, and hopefully some of the informed fans will come over from your SB Nation sister site, thephinsider.com, to answer them. I will also try my best. Also, please feel free to send someone over to post a similar thread at our site. We would love to learn more about your team and what to watch out for in the game.

Just some points of interest: We have a rookie QB who makes rookie mistakes, but could develop well. Our running game looks legit if everyone is healthy. Our WRs are not the worst in the league... I like to believe. Start a Raiders TE in fantasy football this week. Cameron wake will be doubled the whole game.
