Not a Raiders fan (no offense) but I was watching the game last night and I'm not sure if anybody else already mentioned this or not but it's only fair for the Raiders fans to know.
At 4:52 left in the first half the Chargers have the ball with a 3rd & 5. Rivers throws the ball to a crossing Gates, Gates catches the ball and it is called a 1st down. If you watch the ball from the side view of one of ESPNs cameras you will CLEARLY see the ball slip out of his hand and then he tries to regrab it between his body and his elbow but the ball HITS THE GROUND. 3 plays later Rivers throws a TD to Floyd in the back of the endzone.
Anouncers didn't see it, refs didn't see it and I don't know if anyone else saw it.
