Two Coaches I see coming to Oakland...

With the Firings of 4 Coaches this early offseason I took the time to look around Dennis Allens old stomping grounds Texas A&M in search of two position coaches I could DA trying to bring in. Of course I dont know what offense well be running so that kinda narrows our OC search and OL coach search. So I went with two positions in Mind LB and ST coaches! After we brought in the extra fat from Houston I see these two moves being made and to be honest I wouldnt mind it check it out tell me what you think.

Line Backer Coach- Matt Wallerstedt :Texas A&M

A defensive coordinator in three previous coaching stints, former Kansas State All-American Matt Wallerstedt will oversee the linebackers on Kevin Sumlin's Texas A&M coaching staff.

He began his coaching career in 1988 as a student assistant at Kansas State and served two years as a graduate assistant at Arizona State before taking a break from coaching and entering private business. His first full-time coaching position came at Fort Hays State for two years as a defensive line coach. From Fort Hays State he went to Emporia State for one year as a defensive backs coach and then landed at the University of Wyoming for six seasons working with the defensive line and inside linebackers. He was promoted to the Cowboys' defensive coordinator for the 2000-02 seasons. Wallerstedt spent one year at North Alabama as the defensive coordinator and two years at Akron as associate head coach/special teams/inside linebackers coach.

Special Teams Coach- Brian Polian: Texas A&M

Fresh off back-to-back BCS games with the Stanford Cardinal, Brian Polian became a part of Kevin Sumlin's first coaching staff at Texas A&M in 2012 and will coach the Aggies' tight ends and coordinate the special teams units.

Polian served as the Cardinal's special teams coordinator and safeties coach in both his seasons in Palo Alto, Calif., and took on the role of recruiting coordinator in 2011. Known as a tremendous recruiter, Polian was named one of the top recruiters in the country by Tom Lemming's / MaxPreps in November of 2011 and one of the best in the Pac 10 Conference in February of 2011 by ESPN.com

Polian played a key role in the success of the Cardinal program, which finished 12-1 and No. 4 in 2010 and 11-2 and No. 7 in 2011. Polian coached all-conference placekickers both seasons at Stanford with Nate Whitaker taking first-team honors in 2010 and Jordan Williamson earning second-team honors in 2011. Also in 2010, linebacker Chike Amajoyi also garnered first team All-Pac-10 honors as a special teams player.

Before coaching at Stanford, Polian spent five seasons on the staff at Notre Dame where he headed up Notre Dame's special teams units while also holding coaching duties with the defensive backs and linebackers. A nominee for AFCA Assistant Coach of the Year honors in 2008, Polian helped the Irish to three bowl games, including two BCS bowls. He was named one of the top 20 recruiters in the country and the Big 10/Midwest Recruiter of the Year by Rivals.com, and a Top Three National Recruiter by Tom Lemming.
