Chad Morris OC Clemson *
Morris's offense would tailor fit Terrell Pryor.
He loves a mobile, dual-threat quarterback like he has at Clemson in Tajh Boyd.
Morris uses multiple formations, shifts backs/receivers all over the field. And runs the ball well, in addition to passing it well.
Morris describes how his offense, unlike many traditional spread offenses, is not just about stretching the
filed sideline to sideline, but about having an effective down-field passing game. Morris also schemes to put theball in the hands of his playmakers.
Clemson's offense is currently 7th in the nation in total
offense, averaging 518 yards per game. And their attack,
while slightly more pass heavy, also averages nearly 200
yards rushing per game. And the Tigers put up a boatload of
points.
Clemson's offense can grind you out on the ground
if necessary, but can also score in a hurry.
Also there's Nebraska's Tim Beck Tim Beck
Beck likes to mix it up and keep defenses off balance.
When talking about the no-huddle multiple-tempo offense, the faster he run's the offense the better It seems to get. "Running the offense at high speed, like what Oregon and Oklahoma State do, absolutely kills a defense so by the middle of the third quarter they're pretty much done."
Lining up quickly, then as the QB looks to the sideline for a play, shift into a different formation and snap the ball. is just one of the way's Beck likes to do to keep the other team from substituting personnel, which is important
Beck likes to mix it up and keep defenses off balance.
