Denarius Moore, Mike Brisiel among five Raiders to receive MRI

Thomas B. Shea

The Raiders didn't come out of their week 11 win over the Texans unscathed. Several players suffered injuries that required MRI's done. As of Allen's Monday press conference, just one MRI had the results back yet with four others still yet to receive word.

The one MRI result to come back bears good news. It was on the injured knee of Mike Brisiel and it came back negative. Brisiel left midway through Sunday's game and was replaced by Andre Gurode. Allen went as far as to say of Brisiel, "There's nothing new there, so he should be fine."

The other four Raiders who have received MRI's were wide receivers Denarius Moore and Andre Holmes who both suffered shoulder injuries, and defensive linemen Jason Hunter (foot) and Daniel Muir (knee).

The team should get the results of those MRI's within the coming days and we will know more come Wednesday's practice along with the actual test results immediately following.
