Terrelle Pryor and many of the analysts and fans agree that he may be one of the most gifted players on the offensive side of the ball. When I think about Marcus, he was arguably one of the best players on the field whenever he was out there. He had all the tangibles, run, catch, block, pass, and if you put him in on D he'd more than hold his own in the backfield and would be ferociously laying people out.
It seems to me that TP could be used the same way on offense IF he's willing to step out of the QB spot.
Now I don't know how well TP can take a hit or if he can catch or even block but if he was used as a secondary RB , slot, or scat type back it seems to me that his career would flourish, IF HE"S TOUGH ENOUGH. It seems that if he really feels like he's the best , most athletic, most versatile player on the field he wouldn't want to play QB but he'd want to run it, catch it, be the decoy, etc.
Rarely is a QB the best or most athletic player on the field. They are just usually one of the smartest and when I read TP's resume, he just wasn't raised that way.
One of the reasons I put this out there is because I know TP reads his press and maybe this will put a thought in his mind.
I root for the RAIDERS to win & every sunday I believe we can. I hope Matt McGloin does really well and if we've found a QB that the coaches really believe in it will mean mountains of difference now RM is fr($)ee to start working on the offensive side of the ball.
