It's been reported that Matt McGloin will get his third consecutive start on Thursday against the Dallas Cowboys. He led the Raiders to a win in his first start and was two Janikowski missed field goals away from being 2-0 as a starter. He had an up and down game against the Titans. He had an ugly interception but also had a beautiful touchdown pass to Marcel Reese. Overall he played well but he really didn't get going until the second half. I believe Pryor could have provided a spark in certain situations.
When the Raiders were deep in the Tennessee redzone they faced a third and two. They went with a pass play that went incomplete. The Raiders also faced a few third and shorts that they failed to convert. I think the Raiders should bring in Pryor for those situations. If there's nothing there in the pass game he can still make something happen with his mobility.
Keeping your most dynamic player on the sideline for the entire game just doesn't make sense. The Raiders should have at least some packages for Pryor to run this week. They need to take advantage of his ability as a runner. At least get him some read option snaps when the offense is stalling. Terrelle Pryor can still be a valuable part of the Raiders offense. The Raiders coaching staff should wise up and get the ball in his hands.
If his knee is good to go. He needs to be part of the gameplan.
