Raiders career leader update, week 16

Once the regular season is over, I plan on posting some statistical capsules for some Raiders who may be back next year and some who won't. I hope people here find that kind of stuff to be of interest, because I sure do.

But we still have two weeks of stats to review until then, so let's do it.

(* denotes the player who climbed the highest number of spots.)

All stats are provided by Pro Football Reference.

QB

Matt McGloin

Game line: 20 for 36, 206 yards, 0 TD, 1 INT.

Season totals: 118 for 211, 1,547 yards, 8 TDs, 8 INTs. Currently ranked #54 (#57 last week). McGloin enters the last week just three yards behind Jay Schroeder's yardage total from 1989, and 44 yards behind Terrelle Pryor's total from this year.

Raiders career totals: 118 for 211, 1,547 yards, 8 TDs, 8 INTs. Currently ranked #22 (#23 last week). McGloin did manage to pass by Todd Marinovich, and now sits 199 yards behind Terrelle Pryor. With TP set to start next week, this looks unlikely to change.

RB

Rashad Jennings

Game line: 45 rush yards, 0 TDs.

Season totals: 724 rush yards, 6 TDs. Currently ranked #42 (#50 last week). Going into the Denver game, Jennings needs five yards to tie the 729 Eric Dickerson rushed for in 1992, and 30 to match Marcus Allen's total from 1987.

Raiders career totals: 724 rush yards, 6 TDs. Currently ranked #30 (#31 last week). Jennings moved past Marcel Reece and again is just five yards behind Eric Dickerson. A 100-yard game would put him firmly in the #26 all-time position.

WR/TE (top 2)

Andre Holmes*

Game line: 5 catches for 71 yards, 0 TDs.

Season totals: 22 catches for 393 yards, 1 TD. Currently ranked #165 (#200 last week). Holmes's next WR target is Cliff Branch, who logged 401 receiving yards in 1984.

Raiders career totals: 22 catches for 393 yards, 1 TD. Currently ranked #92 (#102 last week). Holmes needs 11 yards to match the Raiders total of Gene Prebola, who played one season in Oakland (1960) during a four-year AFL career.

Mychal Rivera

Game line: 2 catches for 43 yards, 0 TDs.

Season totals: 36 catches for 384 yards, 4 TDs. Currently ranked #171 (not listed last week). Rivera needs two yards to match Ricky Dudley's total from the 1996 season.

Raiders career totals: 36 catches for 384 yards, 4 TDs. Currently ranked #94. Rivera is nine yards behind Andre Holmes for this season.

K

Sebastian Janikowski

Game line: 2 FGs, 1 PAT, 7 points.

Season totals: 21 FGs, 35 PATs, 98 points. Currently ranked #23 (#33 last week), tied with Chris Bahr's point total from 1980. Jano needs one point to tie the season totals of Chris Bahr (1986) and Errol Mann (1977).

Raiders career totals: 345 FGs, 452 PATs, 1,487 points. Still #1 all-time. Janikowski enters the final week of the season trailing Olindo Mare by 68 points for #18 on the all-time NFL scoring list.

DEF

Sacks: Pat Sims (1.0).

Sims earned his second sack as a Raider and his second in as many weeks. He's tied with at least a dozen other Raiders right now.

Interceptions: Mike Jenkins (1).

Jenkins now has two picks as a Raider, and is also tied with several other players for that mark.
