My spin:

This is a roster filled with tons of guys D.A. loves--a bunch of guys that have a ton to prove. A bunch of misfit toys. Obviously, with the picks, I've, of course, missed a guy like Rod Streater, but I gave guys available at the spots we have that fit Reggie's draft mold from last year--productive players from mid-sized schools. The biggest change you'll probably see is the 3-4 defense. I think, at some point, D.A. will look at the players we have now and realize we're better using our linebackers, which looks like the best group of defensive players.

Yes, I have Rolando McClain on the roster. I think he might stay at this point. I feel like the dead money he'd have on the cap is a lot to cut, especially before the Raiders try him in his natural scheme, the 3-4 he ran in Alabama. And if he can turn it around in the 3-4, a system built for slower inside linebackers, he'd be the best option far and away at middle linebacker, with the exception of 1st Round projection Alec Ogletree.

I also have Alex Parsons at guard. He's clearly one of the best five linemen we have, and we have to play the best 5. Brisiel vs. Nix will be a camp battle to watch.

Notably, in that draft, I gave us Sharrif Floyd at 3. He will fit somewhere on the defensive line, and Floyd is the best player in the class not named Luke Joeckel. I gave us Eric Reid, a two year starter for the Mad Hatter in LSU, has enough experience and plenty of talent to fill that free safety spot. Obviously, it'd be best to trade back and get a second rounder (look at right tackle and you'll know why).

Realistically, there's been so much focus at QB because outstanding QB play is really one of our few hopes. Some of these positions are shoddy at best, and we can just start walking the plank if injuries happen again. I think I nailed it pretty good, so please leave your comments on what we should do.
