Darrius Heyward-Bey has officially signed with another team. He latched on with Andrew Luck and the Colts on a 1 year, 3 million dollar contract. DHB was drafted by Al Davis back in 2009 with the much criticized 7th selection. He was taken ahead of Michael Crabtree, Percy Harvin, Hakeem Nicks, Jeremy Maclin, Kenny Britt, and Mike Wallace. Hindsight is always unfair but DHB was finally starting to blossom. After having 35 catches in his first two seasons despite essentially being handed the starting job, he almost had 1,000 yards in his third season. His final season in Oakland was disappointing, however, he had a career high in touchdowns with 5.
Personally, I will miss the head-shake-celebration he did after a touchdown, first down, or critical catch.
