I know that the Nation dont wanna hear this but I would trade Darren Mcfadden ( RB ) this offseason! my vision would be to get a 5th or 6th rounder in 2014 and split the cost of his salary for this year. This move could open our cap to about 4.5 million of cap space this year and I have three good reasons to trade our star power this year, First - we are rebuilding, second - give him a chance at winning before injuries kill that dream and third - like I said before his injuries, 5 million a year for a back that plays on average 8 games in two seasons and is always hurt when we need him most, is starting to be a little much. My plan is to bring back Omar Gaither( ILB ), Mainly for depth and Special teams. After a year in the smelly and pest infested locker room of the steelers my next free agent pick up would be DeMarcus Van Dyke ( CB ), mostly for the same thing as Gaither "depth". I feel a second chance here in Oakland would be nice, not to peplace the fact that the Raiders front office kicked theirselves after seeing his production in Pittsberg. But Kerry Rhodes ( S ) would be my reason for trading DMC though, a power safety that will lay lumber would be a dream for Raider Nation. And from my understanding we are going to be 70 million+ in salary cap in 2014. Even thought we did nothing for our D-line in 2013 and "that sucks", but our LB corps, Secondary and Special Teams would be between good and very good in 2013. Allowing 2014 to be the year we upgrade both lines and TE. I wanted to know what you think and throw some of your ideas into the discussion.
