I can't be the only one who realized this but with the injuries to the Bronco's starting center over the weekend and Von Miller's potential suspension things just got a little murky in the AFC west race. Denver doesn't seem to have the strangle hold that they've been said to have over the division anymore. The race looks more open than ever if you ask me.
I also read that in San Diego, DJ Fluker is struggling in practice. i guess you expect that from a rookie but it makes their already weak o-line look even more susceptible than it already was.
I think our defense is gonna have field days against both the Broncos and Chargers o-line's and harass Manning and Rivers all day long. If the offense can get it together against them the race for the AFC west crown doesn't seem that distant to me anymore.
It's gonna be competitive against the Chiefs, as the worst team last year they've had nowhere to go but up. we won't have to worry about Jamaal Charles all that much Andy Reid doesn't run the ball all that often. but who knows what Alex Smith will do for them? He's a step up from Matt Cassel or Brady Quinn that's for sure. If we play smart football against them, we should be alright.
